Six years after lending £250 million to UK businesses during Covid, we're bringing Business Loans back. This time, we're backed by Allica Bank.

Fast decisions at a fair rate, now with a bank behind us
When Covid hit in 2020, small businesses needed cash fast. Under our MarketFinance brand we lent £250 million to thousands of UK businesses, including through government-backed schemes like CBILS.
Why so many businesses came to us
Speed of decision. While many large banks took weeks to get CBILS loans out of the door, we were making decisions in 24 hours. When your business is on the line, a fast answer matters as much as the money itself.
Six years on, we're bringing Business Loans back, and this time we're backed by Allica Bank.
What's on offer
- Borrow £25k to £250k
- Repay over 5 years
- Rates start from 9% a year
- Connect open banking, see your offer, then sign digitally
We're starting with businesses that have borrowed from us before, and hope to open up to new borrowers in the coming weeks and months.
Why now?
The loans market looks very different to 2020. Government schemes ended, many banks pulled back from loans, and too many good businesses have been pushed towards short-term loans at very high APRs. That can fix this month's cash flow, but higher fees and rates damage companies financially in the long run.
A better option for creditworthy businesses
We want to give creditworthy businesses a better option: a fast decision, at a fair rate, from a lender with a bank behind it.
And it shouldn't be a one-off fix. Borrowing with Kriya now gives a business a long-term, stable funding partner, with access to Allica's invoice finance, overdrafts, asset finance and business banking as it grows.
