Why merchants work with us
Kriya's Invoice Financing enabled Amber Labs to close larger contracts with enterprise and Government clients while maintaining liquidity

“Kriya has been vital in supporting our ambitious growth strategy, offering flexible financial solutions that not only aligned with but strengthened our expansion efforts. Always ready to get on the phone to collaborate, the Kriya team has proven to be a trusted and reliable partner in our journey.”

Northern Monk can draw down finance against large wholesale orders, and focus on scaling to £20m+ in revenue

“Kriya has been a great help to Northern Monk as we’ve scaled operations and started to sell across several different sales channels. It can be tricky to have an ambitious growth plan and manage cash flow with large end supermarket clients, but having Kriya on your side means you can keep business flowing and take on more contracts with confidence.”

How we get started
We take pride in onboarding customers rapidly. The sooner your facility is set up, the sooner your business sees the benefits.
1. Discovery call
Book a call here. We’ll understand your requirements and assess if we are a good fit.
2. Data sharing
We ask for basic financial documents (e.g. latest accounts and bank statements).
3. Final offer
Based on our risk review, which typically runs a couple of days, we present the final terms of your facility.
4. Go-live
We walk you through Kriya’s Merchant Portal platform, and you’re ready to fund your first invoices.
Is invoice finance right for your business?
A good fit if
- You invoice other UK businesses on credit terms
- You’ve been actively trading for at least 2 years
- You are a limited company or LLP
- Your customers are established businesses or Government entities rather than consumers
- You are seeking at least £250k/month in funding
Probably not a fit if
- You sell to consumers rather than businesses
- You are paid entirely up front, on delivery or by card
- Your invoices are for work not yet delivered
Good questions to ask
Approval typically takes days rather than weeks. Once your facility is live, an approved invoice is funded within 24 hours.
You don't have to. Kriya offers selective invoice finance. You choose which invoices to fund, one at a time, and the rest of your ledger is untouched.
Not unless you want them to. Confidential facilities are available, and you keep the customer relationship and the collections throughout.
You do. You keep the relationship and the collections, so nothing changes from your customer's point of view. Your customer pays into a Kriya trust account on their normal terms.
We ask for basic financial documents (e.g., your most recent filed accounts, recent management figures, an aged debtors report) and a short conversation about what you're funding.
Three components. Daily interest on the funds you've drawn (a margin over the Bank of England base rate fixed for your facility), and a single service fee per invoice, and a minimum usage fee. The illustration above shows an indicative breakdown.
Invoice finance has a 1-year contract term.
If an invoice goes unpaid beyond an agreed period, it's recoursed back to you and the advance is repaid, usually by offsetting against your next drawdown. We'll always talk to you before that point rather than springing it on you.
For invoice finance, it depends on our review of your business; where one is needed, we tell you at the point we give you terms, never later.
Yes. Invoice finance and a working capital or business loan can run alongside each other under one relationship and one underwriting process. Amber Labs uses both.
We fund at a bank's cost of capital, which means more capacity and more competitive pricing, and you can add a business account, overdraft or asset finance through Allica under the same relationship. Existing facilities and your points of contacts are unchanged.
A fintech’s speed. A bank’s balance sheet.
As of October 2025, Kriya is owned by Allica Bank, the UK’s fastest growing business bank. Together we aim to deploy £1 billion into UK businesses over the next three years.
